WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!!
Good Morning! Our house is so quiet this morning so I wanted to catch up on a few posts before the busy day of living begins. I haven't even made a Protein Drink yet because I don't want to wake anyone with the ice machine. The baby should be wanting a bottle soon and then everyone will be up...LOL
Everyone Enjoy your Sunday!

I have to have variety. If I eat the same thing over and over I go off the deep end and eat stuff I shouldn't.
Here is the pancake recipe--2 eggs, 1/4 cup cooked oatmeal, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 2 TBS water, cinnamon and vanilla extract. I let it sit in the bowl for a while until it looks like protein powder. Then cook the way you do regular pancakes. This made 3 medium size pancakes. Really filled the wonder pouch up. I like it because the only carbs are from that little bit of oatmeal.

Day 4 of 10 days keeping DGS's x3 while DD and DSIL are in Uganda adopting their baby girl...
Everything going great so far. We are holding up better than we hoped for,so far,and the boys haven't asked for their mom and dad once.
So far,I have successfully avoides all the kid food...
cheezits,cookies,full sugar yogurt,chips,granola bars,muffing,pancakes,popcorn,candy,etc etc etc.
edited to add menu duh!
B bacon,eggs
L mcdonLDS CHICKEN CEASAR SALAD
d GRILLED CHIX
s COTTAGE CHEESE,GRAPES
cALS 658
PRO81.6
cARBS T 27.3 n 23.2
Fluids 56 oz
miles running after the boys all day, playing at the playground
i admit I have lusted after some of it but having 2 months of caerb abstinence under my belt has helped tremendously and I am able to pass it up. This is a real NSV for me as DD's home and the boys continuous parade of food and snacks has seriously been a triggret for me and this is the first time in 2 years since my surgery that I have been successful avoiding *all* the triggers...I usually cave to *something*,so I am planning to hold out for the duration.
DSIL is returning before DD by a couple of weeks so I will be keeping the boys at their home during the day when DSIL goes back to work from Mon - Thurs every week till she gets back home and it could be the whole month of March. Still a long way to go,abstaining, but I am very grateful for the two months abstinence I have under my (little, bitty) belt. lol.
